Is your bedroom too warm?

It can be difficult to fall or stay asleep if you are too warm. If you often overheat at night, consider the following suggestions:

1. Use cotton sheets and blankets instead of thick comforters.

2. Use blankets in moderation.

3. If a regular fan or AC unit does not work, consider a designated “bed fan.” These are designed to remove the extra heat your body generates while sleeping.

4. If the heat is on and other members of your household are in agreement, adjust the temperature on your thermostat. Consider programming a lower overnight temperature.
